THE TLD GPU-409-E-CUP AIRCRAFT GROUND POWER UNIT features an optimized 1,846 RPM brushless revolving field generator, which efficiently produces 90 kVA (72 kW) 400 Hz AC power to start and service aircraft. Designed with operators in mind, the GPU-409 Ground Power Unit’s full-size performance comes in a compact size, allowing for easier handling and better mobility near aircraft while reduced sound levels ensure customer and passenger comfort. Powder-coated aluminum and fiberglass panels that surround a rugged galvanized steel chassis are a durable, yet lightweight alternative to traditional designs. Mobility is enhanced by a rubber torsion axle, tight turn radius fifth-wheel steering, simple direct-acting brakes and a safe no drop tow bar. The unit’s engine can meet U.S.Tier 4i and EURO emission standards.
